IMA-sponsored Wigston Willow U7 Sharks enjoy winning summer

While the world’s best battled it out at the World Cup this summer, a team much closer to home has been enjoying success of its own.

Wigston Willow U7 Sharks, the junior football team sponsored by IMA Architects, have featured in a string of tournaments in recent weeks, putting in a series of impressive performances against local sides. The highlight came in Melton, where the young Sharks came out on top in a friendly competition.

IMA sponsors the team as part of its ongoing commitment to supporting grassroots sport and community initiatives across Leicestershire and the East Midlands. The sponsorship helps cover kit and equipment for the squad, whose players proudly wear the IMA name on their shirts.

At under-sevens level, football is all about enjoyment, confidence and learning to play as a team, and watching these youngsters develop has been a real pleasure.
