We are proud to announce that Airfield Business Park has made the finals of this year’s ProCon Leicestershire Awards.
The £13 million Airfield Business Park in Market Harborough, which we worked on as architect for Leicestershire County Council, has been named a finalist for Large Non-Residential Scheme of the Year at the 2026 ProCon Leicestershire Awards, and we’re delighted to be part of the team in the running. The scheme was entered by Pulse Consult, which led the project team as project manager and cost consultant. We worked alongside principal contractor Britcon UK, structural and civil engineers Rodgers Leask and M&E consultants Axis on the expansion.
The new phase off Harrison Road added ten business units and new food and drink space, including a Costa Coffee drive-through. Bramble Foods has moved into the largest of the new units at 67,000 sq ft, and the first phase of the park has been fully let since 2019.
All four buildings were designed fabric first to meet the Council’s Zero Carbon Construction Guidelines. Between them they have air source heat pumps, more than 700 solar panels and an EPC rating of A+, and there is electric vehicle charging across the site.
Ben Hall, Managing Director, said: “It was a really collaborative job, and Pulse pulled together a strong team from start to finish. Being shortlisted on our own doorstep in Leicestershire means a lot to everyone at IMA.”
The winners will be announced at the King Power Stadium in Leicester on Thursday 12 November. Good luck to everyone on the shortlist, and well done to the whole Airfield Business Park team.
