Logistics Warehouse, EMDC, Castle Donington, Leicestershire

Construction has commenced on site, of a 520,000ft² speculative Logistics Warehouse on the East Midlands Distribution Centre site at Castle Donington. We designed the building which has a clear height of 12 metres, for Panattoni and is our first project with this national developer.

We have worked on EMDC as Architects and Masterplanners for over 20 years, initially with Wilson Bowden Developments and now the wider site owners, Clowes Developments. Over these years we have designed and overseen construction of 12 buildings across the site, with many more development plots available for further schemes. The site is the location for the 1,000,000ft² M&S National Distribution Centre and E-Commerce Hub, which we designed in 2012 and at the time was the largest distribution centre building in Western Europe.
