Compusoft

The building has been constructed as a new build on the developed Ivanhoe Business Park to the north of Ashby-De-La-Zouch, for the local firm Compusoft.
The building is a steel framed two-storey office building comprising a traditional masonry red brick construction, which is broken up by large portions of feature glazing to each façade. The main entrance and rear entrance areas are finished in a high quality through colour render system around two-storey high curtain walling. A series of feature cylindrical glulam columns frame the windows on the main southern elevation with areas of timber cladding to the main entrance south elevation, east and west elevations helping to give each façade a high-quality aesthetic as well as endorsing the plots position adjacent to a zone of National Forest planting. The mixture of traditional brickwork and more modern building materials helps capture a modern and contemporary aesthetic which raises the profile of Ivanhoe Business Park as well as the locality in general.
Specific on-plot landscaping has been selected to provide a continuation of the business parks overall landscaping scheme, which itself, comprises a series of planting species offering an attractive avenue appearance along the main site access roads, whilst being low maintenance. The landscaping to the scheme is situated so that it provides a subtle separation between the business park access roads and the Compusoft plot, therefore still providing a co-ordinated landscape setting between the building and its immediate surround.
The Compusoft office was planned to provide a striking and aesthetically pleasing
built form which addresses the neighbouring properties, articulated by a modern contemporary design complimented by the choice of external materials, which highlight the individual building features and conforms to the buildings setting.
