Plot 4 EMDC

The project on Plot 4 at EMDC involved the construction of a new B8 storage & distribution facility on behalf of Clowes Developments, who carried out the development on behalf of Hines UK. The facility contained ancillary 3 storey offices along with a 2-storey hub office to the centre of the warehouse, including a gatehouse and a sufficient amount of dock doors and parking spaces to cater for the needs of a future occupier. Due to the historic use of the site there was a lengthy earthworks operation carried out on site to remediate the ground and make it suitable for the intended use. The main contractor for the scheme was Benniman and works were completed in the summer of 2023. This development was the final storage facility constructed at EMDC.
